Kathryn Eiseman, President – Ms. Eiseman holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Environmental Science from UMass, Amherst. She practiced law in Manhattan before returning to Massachusetts, where she has consulted for various organizations including the Hilltown Land Trust, the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, and the Water Supply Citizens Advisory Committee. In 2014, she established the Massachusetts PipeLine Awareness Network (MassPLAN) as a coalition of groups and organizations opposed to the Kinder Morgan NED pipeline. She is the founding president of PLAN.
Kenneth Hartlage, Vice President – Mr. Hartlage is president of the Nashoba Conservation Trust, a land trust located in Pepperell, MA. He is a co-founder of StopNED, a pipeline opposition group based in Middlesex County, MA. Mr. Hartlage has 25 years’ banking experience, including as Senior Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman, and a further ten years of executive level leadership in financial technology. His experience with data analysis has been instrumental in reviewing data made available to the public through PLAN’s engagement in regulatory proceedings.
Cathy Kristofferson, Secretary and Treasurer – Ms. Kristofferson is a conservation commissioner for the Town of Ashby, and a member of its New Energy Resource Committee working to solarize Ashby. Ms. Kristofferson worked as a software engineer for over three decades and now uses that technical expertise for positive change, designing websites and leveraging social media opportunities. She is a co-founder of StopNED and that group’s member to Mass Power Forward, an energy policy coalition in Massachusetts with a clean power vision.
Maryann Harper has served on many boards in local government and in the volunteer nonprofit sphere. Her nonprofit service includes the local chamber of commerce as a director for three years, Cathedral of the Pines Foundation (where she served as treasurer), Historical Society (twelve years as secretary) and Monadnock Community Hospital (including serving as vice chair). She is a leader of and spokesperson for the Rindge Pipeline Awareness Group and vice president of NHPLAN.
David Moloney is a computer software architect based in Hollis New Hampshire. He is the founding president of the New Hampshire Pipeline Awareness Network (NHPLAN), an unincorporated all-volunteer organization formed in opposition to the NED project, now focusing on related energy matters in New Hampshire. Mr. Moloney has provided testimony to regulatory agencies, worked with New Hampshire legislators on energy-related bills, and made media appearances on the topic of proposed gas infrastructure build-out in New Hampshire.
Rosemary Wessel holds an M.S. in Architectural Studies from UMass-Amherst, specializing in energy- and resource-efficient design. Ms. Wessel is the sole proprietor of Three Salamanders Design Studio, a graphic design company, and provides graphics expertise to PLAN. She has been instrumental in the creation of many local sustainability and community resilience projects. She is the founder of No Fracked Gas in Mass, which is now a program of the Berkshire Environmental Action Team.
